About The Race

race against racism 2014:

YWCA Rhode Island will again sponsor a Race Against Racism on October 12, 2014. This 5K Run/Walk will be held to unite people of all races, demonstrate our community's commitment to eliminating racism, and celebrate our diversity. Proceeds support community and racial justice efforts.

For everyone's safety, no strollers, baby joggers, dogs, headphones, etc. will be permitted on the 5K course.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers. First place age division winners are also awarded for male and female finishers (no double dipping).
