race against racism 2013:

YWCA Rhode Island sponored a Race Against Racism. This 5K run/walk was held held to unite people of all races, demonstrate our community's commitment to eliminating racism, and celebrate our diversity. Proceeds support community and racial justice efforts. Proceeds support community and racial justice efforts.

The 5K run/walk was held on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 9:00am during Autumnfest at World War II Memorial State Park, Woonsocket. The race was professionally timed.
